Part of a prophecy given to Al Gibson by Des Sinclair
‘My Spirit will be upon your writings and it will be like a light that draws a moth and whatever you write it will be anointed and it will change lives’
The Lord will lead you and He will open the doors, there is much wisdom and experience, there is a lot of brokenness and heartache but in all these things you have come out the other side saying “The Lord has given me the victory.” And out of that victory, God is going to use you to speak into many people’s lives and encourage them… I see a real pastoral calling, a real pastor’s heart and there is a poetic, prophetic anointing – a preaching anointing on your life that is prophetic. Where words flow, where you will take a passage and paint a spiritual picture… not just straight teaching but the anointing behind it.
But also the poetic-ness comes out of suffering, out of life’s hard knocks, it comes out of rejection out of feeling worthless, but in trusting the Lord, and just oozes out of you. People who have been through some stuff come out trusting in the Lord – you have that poetic anointing and that is what touches and ministers to people…. people will weep and cry as you preach because it will be the Spirit of the Lord that will bring them to a place that their hearts will open to respond to Christ through the ministry that is open you.
“And do not think that you are just a country boy from Zimbabwe, ‘and what do I know, I am not one of these great preachers and I don’t hear God so clearly so what can I do?’ but yet as you discipline yourself in the Word and as you spend time just talking to Me – just talk to Me as you write books – and as you talk to Me in that manner you will hear My voice – and as you hear My voice, My anointing will lead you, and as you lay hands upon the broken hearted; and as you lay hands upon the sick they will receive their sight, deaf ears will open for within you as well – out of a great gift of mercy and compassion – there is a strong healing anointing that I am resting upon you and what you write will bring change.
“What you write on paper will be like Paul, for even as My servant Paul, with one stroke of his pen, was able to change the attitude of many, and so like Paul, you have the ability to write on paper, My heart, what My Spirit is saying to My people, and as you write it down, it will not be of your own flesh but rather of My Spirit and My Spirit will be upon your writings and it will be like a light that draws a moth and whatever you write it will be anointed and it will change lives, it will draw people and I will use you as one just like Paul, who was able to write a letter to the Church and bring change, I will also use your writings to bring change and bring restoration and restore the Body of Christ,” declares the Lord.
